I am not too sure what to do in such a case. Because it is not your photo although it had been submitted for the contest you can pass the winning status on to the runners up if you so choose.
I was aware of this but did not know if it would be an issue. Maybe one of the Admins could shed some light on what to do in such a circumstance?
