I guess you could call this dry wall. ;-)

This is one of the few remaining buildings in the ghost town of Ballarat, located in the Panamint Valley next door to Death Valley in California. Most of the structures were made of sandy mud, using water hauled in from Post Office Springs, a quarter-mile to the south. Little "binder" was used, so many of the structures have weathered away in the ensuing hundred years or so. They only get about 3 inches of rain per year.
