The B&W Photography Forum is a friendly and cordial place. Please keep it that way - no slamming allowed.

Only B&W images (including B&W Infrared and Hand Colored images) are allowed here. Color images will be deleted.

All styles of B&W images are allowed, EXCEPT PORNOGRAPHY. If your image or post is considered in poor taste by the admins, they will delete it.

Participants with all levels of skill and experience are welcome.

Minors who participate on the B&W Photography Forum must have the permission and support of a parent or legal guardian. Minors that wish to participate on the forum should ask a parent or guardian to post for them.

NEVER GIVE OUT PERSONAL INFORMATION such as your address or phone number.

When posting critiques, be clear, be professional and polite - don't just point out problems, provide solutions and advice. Nasty, belittling posts will not be tolerated. Limit your comments to the image posted, do not comment on the skill, motive or other aspects of the person posting.

Images posted that contain nudity MUST be in good taste. Sexually explicit photos or links to sexually explicit sites are not allowed

No links to Adult (XXX) sites.

No links to pay sites.

Promotion, advertising, or solicitation for XXX adult or sexually explicit work IS NOT permitted.

No posts relating to escort services.

Personal attacks are not allowed. Disagree all you want, but address the issues and leave personalities out of the discussion

Anyone who repeatedly attacks or verbally abuses others will be banned.

Posting the contents of private e-mail is not permitted. If you have information included in a private e-mail that you feel is vital and should be made public, please contact a forum administrator for prior approval.

All posts must have a valid name & e-mail address ie: You must post your real name & your real email address. Models are allowed to use their professional names. No anonymous posts allowed, if not, they will be deleted. Your IP address is logged.

Messages of a purely commercial nature are are required to have prior permission before posting. Please submit to the owner for review.

Anyone posting on the B&W Photography Forum does so with the knowledge that we reserve the right to review the business practices of anyone using our facilities. Posting a message grants us this right. If you have things to hide, don't post here.

Any post (except those listed below) that amounts to an ad for a business, another forum, or other activity must be approved in advance of posting. While this is a publicly accessible forum, it still amounts to the private property of the forum owner. Violators will be billed at a rate of $145 per day until the ad is removed.

Valid workshops are excluded from the pre-approval requirement. If you're not sure, we'll be happy to review a post in advance.

When soliciting or recruiting for models or photographers, you must post an image and a website or URL where your work/credits can be viewed. Beginning models and photographers who are unsure on how to post images, contact one of the forum administrators or owner, they will be happy to assist you.

Disagree with others all you want, but leave personalities out of the discussion. Please be courteous and conduct yourself in a professional manner.

One of the objectives of this forum is to educate people in an effort to help prevent anyone from being abused, mistreated, or taken advantage of monetarily or otherwise. If you are here soliciting models, photographers, for any reason, please understand that you may come under the scrutiny of other forum participants. We have industry professionals associated with this forum who are not only knowledgeable in their own right, but who also are in touch with resources that help us look out for each other.

They are also proven by being familiar to us and to the industry professionals who contribute here. We reserve the right to verify the credibility and reliability of those who give advice and direction, as well as those who solicit. However, the B&W Photography Forum administration or the owners CAN NOT and WILL NOT accept liability for ANY statements made by ANY individual, or actions by any individual based on advice or suggestions given here.

Any image posted to this forum may be deleted at the discretion of the forum administrator. If a model or photographer requests that one of their images be removed, it may be deleted at the discretion of the forum administrator.
